I use mind-body techniques like Emotional Freedom Techniques, breath work and mindfulness together with traditional counselling techniques including Solution Focused therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, to help you identify and reduce painful emotions related to stress and trauma. I can help you clarify your goals and release feelings like grief, fear, shame and anger that may be stopping you from moving forward. So you can get on with living your life.
My particular area of interest is the mind-body connection and impact of emotional stress and trauma on physical and mental health and well-being. Working from a trauma informed approach, I provide a space that helps people feel safe and supported to move forward from stressful life experiences so they can cope more effectively and create positive change in their lives.
